Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!When I think about the voices I listen I have to wonder how much of God's word is mixed in with the news, fears, gossip, magazines, books, Facebook quotes, memes, and tweets. Then of course there is my own voice, comparing, shaming, judging. There are a lot of days I don't "feel" like the old is gone and the new has come. I just feel defeated, tired and a whole lot of old.
Then I remember that feelings matter, but they are not the truth.
The truth is GOD WILL KEEP HIS PROMISE! He will continue His work in my life. My old habits do not have to enslave me, if I choose to walk with Him, one choice at a time.
